Yep it's crazy. They just hit factories near the Ural mountains which are 2,000 miles or as you specified around 1,100 miles away.

I wonder how much of this has to do with their not being as many targets in Ukraine and the lack of intel gathering by the Russians.

So much of Ukraine's economic support is coming from outside of Ukraine. Russia can't target the EU industries of munitions factories. Russia was becoming very successful targeting Ukrainian logistics (especially trains) until Elon blocked them from wifi so they can no longer control drones beyond line of sight.

IMO Ukraine's intel on the ground and tech assets from France, US, has given them much better targeting information in addition to drones that have wifi control over all of Russia.

In the last 3 days, they hit 2 FSB command centers and a drone command center. There are thoughts that, Ukraine has made an intel break through.
