My wife and I voted Steyer for that exact reason. We were hoping Steyer would finish 2nd behind Becerra to get Hilton out but we figured we are probably voting becerra in the general and now we clearly are.
I have seen enough online to suggest we were 2 of LOTS of Dems who did that. My sister did it too.
I guess it's possible some Steyer voters won't flip but I still think it's pretty unlikely Hilton wins
and if he does he'll be recalled eventually
