I shoulda thought about that. Man, OldBruin telling me that he hopes I die alone realizing that I can't convince anyone of my sophistry would've been an all-time top-10 for me.
That man sure hated me with passion. God rest his weary soul if he's no longer with us. He hated my guts coz I had the temerity to claim that Mandarin and Cantonese are two different languages while he's arguing with me that they are the same language because when he watches Cantonese shows (or vice versa, it's been a while) he can follow them through the subtitles. It went downhill from there. He was a tightly wound ball of fury, for sure.
