Obama spent nor the $1.2B capitol annex expansion Newsom is spending of our tax dollars either, but I am not whining like a little b*tch about them either.
While infrastructure upgrades, necessary due to prior administrations ignoring it, are tax payer paid... the ballroom itself is privately funded. It would be like if Obama had private funds build the basketball court and used only 300M of taxpayer dollars for the infrastructure part but of course he couldn't care less what he stuck the tax payer with so we paid for all of it unlike with the ballroom.
