Yep and even if people just show up and vote in person it's going to be chaos. Oregon as mentioned you can only vote in County election offices in person, it's where employees work they are NOT designed to have tons of people showing up daily to cast votes
Over 2 million people voted in Oregon in 2024, it might be close to that or more this time as pissed off as people are. Google says Oregon has 36 such offices and a 2024 article said 34 of the 36 were significantly understaffed. now have more than 55 thousand voters try to vote on average at each place(obviously some counties much more some much less). Absolute chaos.
The entire intent is stop people voting and those that do you then just declare an emergency due to irregularities
And yes we keep being told he can't do that, it's not legal, and he just does it anyways, why won't this be the same?
Even Republicans have been calling out it's too close to the election to adopt his stupid Save Act so doing this would be even worse but we can't seriously expect SCOTUS to rule that way.
