Darko is absolutely brilliant.

Absolutely agree with My Favorite Things. I'm always a little conflicted as to whether jazz artists reinterpreting a song counts as a cover since they usually end up using the original as a launching pad to do their own improvisations, etc. (like if you gave them that same chord progression without an existing song attached to it, they'd probably end up at the same place), but this one kinda feels like a cover in the way it keeps returning to the theme and fully honors it. And it's incredibly good.

Take Me to the River is iconic.

John Cale's version of Hallelujah was the starting point for Jeff Buckley's later on, I believe. That's also a great one (both are good obviously, but I like Cale's a little better).
