Why does Roberts leave Paxton in with 90 pitches?

He pitched 5 innings. No doubt he will be over 100 pitches if he even got through the 6th. So he leaves him in until their is 1st and 2nd nobody out.

Such an easy call to pull him after five. But not Roberts. How much do these Managers get paid again?
