Talking to someone who may have to work a few levels below him who is not a Republican, told me a couple of things caught his eye to the positive when looking him up, although, who knows how he'll be.
He volunteered for 3 tours of duty (2 to Iraq, and 1 to Afghanistan). He came back thinking that the senior leadership failed the troops on the ground.
That was how he eventually gained notoriety to eventually his Fox show. He doesn't know what kind of leader he will be or if his act was just for views but he was impressed by the 3 volunteer tours.
