are at the D1 level even if they don't get many minutes. Back when Andy committed to the Bruins and I was closely following UCLA recruiting, I believed that he had the skills to be a starter for the Bruins. Even though it didn't turn out that way, he played pro ball in Israel for a time and had great careers in other areas and became a very close friend of John Wooden in later years and co-authored the book "Be Quick but Don't Hurry" with JW. Andy graciously sent a copy of the book to me autographed by both him and coach Wooden. It's one of my treasured possessions.
