I generally appreciate how athletic most of these guys are but they aren't all leaps and bounds better than someone who had a solid high school career. I remember Kris Johnson came out to the Rieber courts one time and I had to guard him - I was fully prepared to get plowed over but I surprisingly held my own. The biggest difference wasn't skill, it was physicality. He did try and barrel me over but I held my own - and he didn't score on me. That being said, I was MVP of my HS basketball my senior year in HS, so that's worth something. Maybe KJ was just having a bad day, but towards the end he was really trying to show me up and like I said, I held my own. All that to say, yeah, they are freakishly good athletes, but they are still of this planet.
