As mentioned earlier, they can play close against good and very good team, but they can get blown out by mediocre teams. In short, the Nittany Lions are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get.
They are actually pretty good on offense, being strong at two-point shooting and not turning the ball over.
Their defense is poor, particularly at letting teams shoot a high percentage. They are one of the very worst at FG% defense. They are good at getting turnovers and not fouling. If we protect the ball we should score.
Penn State is prefectly mediocre on the boards, but they are better than we are.
Overall, we are better on offense and better on defense. Computers rate us as 2 to 4-point favorites. This is our easiest road game left on the schedule.
This seems like a MUST WIN GAME!
