Remember the Troy Aikman-Dante Moore controversy? Aikman said his contribution was specifically earmarked for Moore, but Moore didn't thank him. But it's UCLA's policy not to disclose to recruits the source of the money.
One might assume Aikman wouldn't have had to pay if Moore didn't sign.
