But reality bites hard in the present. I agree Sunseri was awful. While had hoped for some improvement over Bienemy's offense last year, most of that hope was tempered the first time I heard Tino speak in a pre-season presser, where he demonstrated an uncanny ability to articulate very little of substance in an astonishing spray of rambling incoherence. And the foundation of all his coach speak was a similar sort of Rah, rah, rah, unfounded naive exuberance to what Jerry brings to the table. And of course they also both have great attention to the detail of their hair.
While Jerry is perhaps loyal and brave for taking this on, I don't get the sense that he has any real offensive identity to impart on the team. And what are they going to run, Tino's offense with someone else calling the plays? Playground offense? what?
