UCLA Staying At Rose Bowl

Channel 7 News is reporting that UCLA will be playing its games at the Rose Bowl "next season." (Nothing said about future seasons.)

Channel 7's coverage included a statement issued by Mary Osako, UCLA Vice Chancellor for Strategic Communications:

We know how much game day means to Bruins -- to our students, alumni and fans who plan their autumn around Saturdays together. Our priority is delivering a strong season experience for our student-athletes and our community, and we have great momentum in our football program.

I wonder if that all means that the social atmosphere, tailgating, etc., which as I understand it would have been difficult at SoFi, played a part in this decision?
