I don't have a problem with him running. My problem is he seems to seek out contact at the end of the run. Or at least he doesn't try to avoid it.
There are lots of running QB's who don't take as much punishment as Nico does. He needs to try to get out of bounds or slide to minimize the contact. Obviously Dante Moore can tell us that sliding isn't going to always work, but it works a lot more than running head on into a defender.
Protect your body, Nico. You are more important than an extra yard or two, and you have already proven that you are tough.
