I loved the wildcat. As Chez notes, it provides an extra blocker without Nico taking hits. Nico hasn't been very productive running the ball anyway. I was all for some called run for Nico. But with the wildcat as an option, I say only let him run it once or twice per game - to keep the D worried about it. Otherwise, run some wildcat. I'd love to see one of our backs throw it out of the wildcat once, just to have defenses have to account for that. Hell, just tell them to throw it away, so that passing out of the wildcat is on film.

TE's I love that we threw to the TE's. We need that dimension. I know our guys aren't going to gat much YAC, but if they can catch the ball when they are not covered, that's an easy 1st down.

I don't want to mention the Q word, but we were gashing them at the end of the game. So, that makes Leigber and Cox maybe look a little better. But, if one of our three headed monster had to sit out, I'd be good with giving a couple of carries to eithe Leigber or Cox.

Cox, why did he carry the ball in the middle of his body, when there was no one to the outside of him? Why didn't he use his outside arm, and use his inside arm/hand to fend off the tackler. I'd love to have Foster back as RB coach.

Let's not get carried way - we still don't know what we've got yet.

I'm a party of one on this, but I take Lannings post-game words as a slap in the face to UCLA. If you live in LA and want to play winning football, come to Oregon. Ya, he was talking about scum. But, the fact that he didn't even consider that there is another team in town .....Hey, Dan, there's a new Chez in town.
