coaches don't have to challenge a controversial call, the conference referee review crew expedites a video review, like in the NFL, and automatically reviews these 'judgement' penalties to 1) get it right and 2) and extra set of eyes gets to see the play before it's too late to reverse it because a subsequent play is run on the field.
