Lucy's cousin is an RN in Washington in the maternity ward, Tylenol is the # recommended OTC for pregnant women in the US. The reason they recommend it is if you have a fever and do NOT treat it when pregnant it can cause prlblems. THAT is why so many studies of Tylenol say the same thing it's not clear if Tylenol, or the reason the person TOOK TYLENOL, was the cause. NOte most recommended OTC at the rate Tylenol gets used why are so few children autistic?
Her Aunt that lives in Sydney Australia, works in the maternity ward as an RN, guess what's the most recommended OTC there, yep Tylenol. Same thing at the rate it gets used if it was causing autism the number of children with autism would be staggering.
OUr niece works with behavioral issue people here in Elk Grove, both kids and adults. Most of her patients are ADHD or Austistic. We had a long discussion on saturday about this while driving, again absolutely no evidence Tylenol is the cause. REminder most of the people who took Tylenol when pregnand and have a child with Autism, took it FOR A REASON, they had a high fever.
