That would mean the Democrats are more interested in winning elections than the welfare of the American people.
It is true that long-term Republican rule could cause even greater harm, but I think the Democrats are more likely to win if people see them as standing for something, rather than playing political games.
I totally support their fight over health care. It's the right thing to do and it is winning politics.
