may have a silver lining.

Not because anything decent will be constructed. I’m sure Trump’s creation will be a nightmare. But the destruction of the East Wing will provide tangible, incontrovertible evidence of what Trump is all about, and how he operates:
- Lying about the project
- Proceeding without regulatory approvals
- Initiating an un-necessary and un-wanted extravagance during a government shutdown that is hurting millions of Americans
- The sheer ugliness of it all…

This is a high-visibility project. Perhaps the images will move more Americans to see Trump in a different light… a very ugly one.
