more about LGBTQ and immigrants than the bulk of American voters. They always want to cater to the people on the fringes and overlook all the people in the middle. That may be an admirable goal in some opinions but it won't win elections.
As you said they better have a strong message for the majority of voters if they want to win. And unlike Blind I don't think that message should be a strong move to the left. Kamala was nowhere near as liberal as Bernie and AOC but she was successfully labeled as too liberal for the country.
Rather than getting hung up on mod left or progressive left we will only win if we have a strong, likable candidate who can convey a clear message of how he will make life better for the majority of voters.
