Good luck cashing out these days and going to Tahoe, PS, or Colorado. They're not cheap dates either. Hell, when I visited Sonora, CA (gold rush country) in August, pieces of junk were 500K. It's all the silicone valley money going there and the surroundings starting with the pandemic. The sad thing for similar towns along with resorts is the service workers are getting priced out and that includes those who work multiple jobs if they can get them. Free enterprise has its price.
