If you're talking about this board, I don't recall any discussion of "god mode." I don't recall any discussion of whether chatgpt was alive. There was a brief thread on whether AI had, or would, obtain "consciousness"with the understanding the chatgpt was the tip of the iceberg.

It seems like the "consciousness" discussion, while ridiculously fanciful, is a topic that should be at the forefront. Like, it's a fanciful way of asking whether AI's will be developed in a way that they are not responsive to the directives of the developers. They are not controllable, presently. You can try to build walls to contain them, but thousands of them have exhibited that their programming will will seek ways through those walls. Call that consciousness, free will, whatever .... it's a bad development. As MH pointed out, it really doesn't matter if they are "conscious." It matters tremendously if they act in a manner that mimics consciousness and independent will.
