And my first plan would be for the new house to elect a temp speaker of the house that takes effect the moment the new house convenes. the first act of the new temp speaker will be to fire the corrupt clerk.
the obvious question is will this new temp speaker have any real authority if appointed by a congress that has not convened?
So, if the republicans hire a corrupt clerk, to stop dems from being seated, then the official fight for democracy begins. And the dems have to play hardball and have the attorneys ready to fight on all fronts.
If we can win this fight without bloodshed, we will be the shinning light that the world will look up to.
