So we're continuing the tradition of assigning phantom powers to people whose job is only to make sure that the paperwork is in order.
OK. So it's not like the one giant loophole in the process that was somehow not noticed before. That's better. I don't think those kinds of schemes can survive daylight as long as the elected officials can get past the (red) state level shenanigans.
