Today's polling averages are the best in this election cycle. EVERY SINGLE NUMBER is at it's best value.

This is true for both of my favorite aggregators, FiftyPlusOne and Silver Bulletin.

TRUMP APPROVAL
==============
- Trump's approval is at the lowest value (35.1% / 38.9%)
- Trump's disapproaval is at it's highest value. (61.7% / 59.5%)
- Trump's net disapproval is the highest ever. (26.6% / 21.6%

GENERIC CONGERSSIONAL BALLOT
============================
- Democrats are at their higest level ever (50.7% / 49.7%)
- Republicans are at their lowest level ever (43.2% / 41.7%)
- Net lead for the Dems is at it's highest level. (7.5% / 8.0%)

And historically in midterm elections, the party out of power gains on the generic ballot as the election gets closer

There is also a lot of data that confirms this trend. As confused442 pointed out the Senate is trending blue. Polls of individual congresional districts are looking very favorable.

QOP candidates aren't scrubbing references to Trump from their web sites and criticizing Trump in commercials for no reason. They can read the polls, too.
