1) along with Oklahoma, we're certainly in contention as the best hitting team in college softball history. But Nebraska's pitcher, Frahm, is the best in the conference and most often in a contest between great hitters and a great pitcher, the edge goes to the pitcher.
2) Nebraska's first baseman is named Bacon making it essential if she does get on base that we shut them down to avoid Nebraska's certain cheer: "Bring home the Bacon".... (Sorry, but not sorry...:-)
