Batters did better. Put out streak to 10 in a row, then West homers decisively, and the Bruins filled the bases. SM pulled their pitcher and new guy hit Gasparino to score another run for UCLA. Dugger K'd. Aguayo K'd. But it's 5-2 UCLA now. 3 Bruins LOB.

Cervantes gave up a HR but stopped it there with aid of Gasparino taking care of a ball hit long to dead center.
