One out bottom of inning, Cervantes hits next batter and that's all for him today. Grothues in to pitch for UCLA. Lefty pitcher. Lefty batter up. Popup caught by Cholowsky. Mother lefty hitter. Stroked a single to right - quite literally - easy swing. So SM now with a runner on first and a run in. two out, one on first. A wild pitch and a single. That's all she wrote for Grothues.
Nother pitching change - now pitching for UCLA Stump. (and we're all thinking of when we left the bases loaded while we seemed to be getting on a roll.
