I attended Pasadena High School, and we had a good team (including Michael Cooper). But David Greenwood's Verbum Dei team was really, really good - I believe all five starters received scholarships to D1 schools. Verbum Dei beat my PHS team and then beat Inglewood for the championship. That Inglewood team featured the best high school player I ever saw, Reggie Theus. That was a long, long time ago...
