Memories fade over time. In Greenwood's sophomore year, Verbum Dei beat Pasadena for the championship. In his junior year, Inglewood lost to San Gabriel and Pasadena lost to Buena who Verbum Dei beat for the championship. In his senior year, they were upset by Palos Verdes in the semis (damn Bill Laimbeer!).
