If you want to get rid of Cronin because we got blown out by Michigan, you would probably want to get rid of a lot of coaches because they do this to most teams, winning by an average of 22 points. Michigan is probably the best and deepest team in the country. According to the radio broadcast guys, we tried to get some of Michigan's players but were outbid. That's not Cronin's fault if he doesn't get enough NIL bucks to work with. Blame him for losing Mara, but we still don't know the full story.
We have lost eight games. Six to teams which will make the tournament and two to teams on the bubble. Of those losses, in four we were missing Clark or Bilodeau and two others Clark was only able to play limited minutes due to his injury. The other two where both were at full strength were to top-10 teams in games which we were very competitive.
Previously, I said a loss to Michigan wouldn't hurt us as long as we didn't get blown out. Check the NET rankings and Kenpom tomorrow. We were #39 in both. Where we stand then will give a good indication of how this affects us.
