So much wrong with this post and very little “perspective.”
Like so many here, you don’t want to acknowledge what’s plainly obvious: Cronin’s management of the program has been increasingly suspect and ultimately unsatisfactory. Don’t blame the roster issues on limited NIL money. Blame it on a coach who is an awful recruiter. Do you even know how bleeping easy it is to recruit elite talent to UCLA. We’ve produced the second most NBA players of any school in history (Kentucky is 1st). This means that great players WANT to come to UCLA. They just don’t want to play for this clown.
We had zero chance today. Let that sink in. That’s rarely happened at UCLA. Cronin’s legacy is that even when given a Ferrari, he still drove it like a beat up Chevy.
