adopted or have tried to adopt. So, until the future becomes the present and/or the past we can only see what has and is happening. Right now we are seeing this team respond to their coach in a positive way. He has them all uniting in a common effort to play as a team. It appears he has everyone on board - including Jamerson. I understand that we don't know if there are internal things going on with Jamerson (or others) that are negative toward Cronin and not shown publicly. That may come later, but all outward appearances seem to indicate that that's not the case. And in every opportunity we have had to observe Cronin it appears that he is trying to better himself and his position in regards to his boorish behavior.
We'll soon see if any or all of this sticks. We'll soon see how his team plays in all the remaining games they have whatever that number may be. We'll soon see if he can retain his players. We'll soon see if he can bring in the players he needs for his team from the portal. We'll soon see if he can bring in high school players or whether he needs to.
But right now he has once again demonstrated that he can coach and has his team primed for post season. And we can see that he has done that with the players he retained, brought in from the portal, and recruited out of high school. And he is doing all of this while seemingly changing his ways on the sideline and in his press conferences.
Really, that's all one can reasonably ask for. Some of us want to move the goal posts before we make up our minds. Some want to ignore all of this because they want to move on to the next "shiny object." Some of us recognized all along what this coach can do and see and understand how he's doing it - messiness and all.
Cronin isn't perfect, he may make further mistakes, he may implode, but right now he is showing us there is a method to his madness, he gets results, and he is a fine coach whose players seem to respect and like him. His attempts to change his emotional ways are admirable and show that he is not recalcitrant nor stuck in his ways. Right now he's doing a great job on many fronts. We will soon see what the future brings.
