That was my recollection but I went to Youtube and looked at a game to make sure. Bilic played 23 minutes against Oregon on December 7. I looked at the first half while the game was still competitive (we won 80-59). In the first quarter, Bilic subbed in to play with Betts, Dugalic, Kneepkens and Rice. Bilic was guarding the point guard when she came in (they pressed so much that the defense was shelter skelter in the fromt court). In the second quarter, Bilic came in and played with Betts, Dugalic, Jaquez, and Rice. Bilic again guarded the point guard. Muse subbed in both times for Betts but that did to affect Bilic's position.
We will see how it goes this year but I expect her to start at guard along side of Aarnisalo. I could see us going small and having Bilic play the wing in a Muse or Gardiner, Brown, Bilic, _____, and Aarnisalo lineup but I do not expect that at the start of games unless our one or more of out front court players underperform. I also am not sure who is going to be the backup at the 2 guard to fill in the blank in the small ball lineup.
