What is this country's obsession with old farts?
Will we get 5 good years from him? How in touch is he with the young, now unionized UC academic workers?
I know nothing about him other than what I have read in the past few hours, but I really wish they would have hired someone younger than me (59).
But as pointed out below, he is a great fundraiser, and maybe that is what they are really looking for.
