Those views of Chip have been assigned to you. As you read this, you disagree. You say in your mind "no, I read what a jerk Chip is and I happen to agree with it. It wasn't assigned to me." But when you consider the range of information you're given, it's all pointing in one direction, the Chip is ogre direction. You accept it as your reasoned opinion.
The only problem is you don't know what actually happened, you don't know Chip and you have no firsthand knowledge of the details. None of us do.
Chip didn't get lazy overnight. He got lazy when Ucla had no money to compete with, when they spurned NIL while the SEC and B10 powerhouses embraced it in big ways.
Instead of chasing around JV players, he went to the portal and did fine, but he gets no credit for that, just blame because morons here think JV recruiting and stars are important.
