Astute and lots to agree with. The hype isn't determinant in isolation of other factors. It amplifies and intensifies noise. The LAT is the source of record even though its the LAT.
The government service bureaucrats in Morgan Center are easily spooked so intensely negative hype can get them to move unwisely. But, I grant that it's only a factor, in my view.
With wild swings from optimism to pessimism and back again, the program just treads water. With more stable fans perhaps we can bolster the program more consistently and actually help build something here.
BZ fans seem to want to get their jollies just mouthing the media spin they get from the Parasite and Bolch without thinking much about it. We can be better fans.
