history? That after the 2018 recruiting class, which was largely secured by Mora's staff, Chip signed three moribund recruiting classes, BEFORE the NIL era? In those 3 classes he failed to upgrade the talent level of the program, or even recruit to the standards of his predecessor, who was fired. That 2019 class tells you all you need to know about his commitment to recruiting.
As you admit, yes Chip did quit on his team. If he had stayed on and had a good season this year, he would have gotten an extension. I "observe and deduce" that Chip knew that wasn't going to happen, because the program he built was crap. How many coaches leave a Power conference head job to become a college OC, for a multi-million dollar pay cut? Only one who knows his goose is cooked.
Stop lying, whore. Chip didn't fail because of NIL or "the media". He failed because he was arrogant, lazy, and stubborn. Instead of trying to show everyone how brilliant he is measuring peoples' hands and concocting the perfect smoothie, all he had to do was bring in the same Neuheisel/Mora recruits we had been getting for years and coach them up. And hire a real DC instead of Azz. Do those things and he would still be at UCLA.
You f'n Whore.
