Consider me skeptical. There were multiple reports of Chop actively looking for other college and professional jobs prior to UCLA’s bowl game and prep.
Wr all know you don’t magically wake up and decide you want to make such a dramatic change to your employment. Compound that with cutting a 7 figure check to your employer to leave for less than 1/2 of your current salary.
OTOH, I don’t think there was a better place for ANY coach than to land the OC position at tOSU this year. A lot like getting the OC position at Bama when they had the best roster in the country.
