spend nearly all our NIL money on a QB (especially one whose production fell this season while on one of the most talented teams in the country)? When we also need OLs, WRs, a RB probably, a TE or two, DLs, LBs, a rush end (or two - 2nd most costly position to fill behind only QB), 2 or 3 safeties and a DL?

We just couldn't afford to be in that game - too many holes to fill now.

Besides, no way in hell a top level QB would consider at team coming off a losing season with a mostly new offensive staff coming in and prospects for having a really really bad OLfor a QB to play behind
