on the 2004 roster, I'm seeing: Kevin Brown, Bruce f'ing Davis, Brigham Harwell, Trey Brown, Joe Cowan, Patrick Cowan, as guys he recruited right off the bat. Just there, you've got Brian Price, Kevin Brown, Bruce Davis, and Brigham Harwell, and Mo Drew. And, you're saying he couldn't recruit? I pray that Foster brings in anything remotely near that level of talent. Holy Cow.
But, wait, there's more. Also on that roster, looking like Dorrell recruits to me (I'm was just on the B's): Chris Horton (NFL), Dennis Keyes (remember him?), Michael Pitre, Matt Slater (remember him?), And Rodney Van, Christian Taylor.
And, Brandon Breazell & Marcus Everett, who you'll say were nobodies, but they weren't. And, add Chris Markey a serviceable running back.
That's just guys that were freshmen and true soph's on the 2004 roster. Bad recruiter? What the hell am I missing?
Yes, his recruiting fell off once people found out he couldn't coach. But, that's a ton of talent he brought in early. A ton. And, he later brought in Ben Olson, Logan Paulson, Kyle and Korey Bosworth, Reggie Carter, Aaron Ware, Alteraun Verner, and Terrence Austin.
