is the amount of money the Rose Bowl group spent on upgrading the stadium. Ucla basically plays there for free. The Rose Bowl did all the upgrades with the agreement that Ucla would play their home games there. That included the widening of tunnels, upgrades to sound and video, locker room upgrades, press box and VIP, etc. I think the only thing the Rose Bowl really was getting was the VIP revenue. The Rose Bowl also has another major upgrade coming. So while you may be right that the lawsuit doesn't have much to go on at this point (I honestly don't know), something seemed to spark it.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but there are 3 truly great experiences I've had in sports as far as atmosphere. Fenway Park, Wrigley Stadium, and the Rose Bowl. I've never done Lambeau Field, but I'm sure that is an amazing experience. As much as I love being in a new car, I still don't think it compares to getting into a classic that is kept up. If Ucla can get excitement and energy back, I still love the Rose Bowl. That's me though.
