I luv the statue of liberty

I'm thinking we were the first modern country to codify that all men were created equal. We've had a tough time living up to it, but damn . . . ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. By welcoming all and declaring that we can all strive for the pursuit of happiness, the USA became the port of entry for the world. The good ideas from everywhere meant we could accomplish almost anything. Currently, there's been a lot of talk about how Americans have been brainwashed, and the Pledge of Allegiance is considered one of the contributing factors. But those last few words of the Pledge — WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL. If we are brainwashed to believe that, then . . . well . . . I mean . . . jeez . . . . . . . . .
