Electronic message boards throughout the city. Where people formed impromptu watch parties. Simple but genius.

Mamdani is the first Democrat in a while to figure out that doing things to make people’s lives better and happier is good politics. FDR, another New Yorker was the master of this. Too many democrats worry that actually helping people and giving them services isn’t “centrist” enough. Mamdani got the NBA to offer the stream for free! And why wouldn’t they, that is great marketing! It cost nothing and made people feel joy.
