There is no way anyone in the Trump circle can win 2028 (under normal circumstances) any more than anyone in the Biden circle could have won 2024 (which is why it was essential for Harris to give the consultants the middle finger and differentiate herself from Biden in every possible way).
The only person who can win the presidency on the Republican side has to be am outsider. Who has media savy. And charisma.
That's why I'm keeping an eye on Tucker Carlson with trepidation.
I don't fear Vance, Rubio, JR, Hegseth anyone else who has a close tie to Trump or has been a member of his cabinet.
Caveat: Democrats can't nominate someone who's known to be bepart if they party establishment. 2012 was still a change election, in my view, but Republicans nominated someone who had been even more of an establishment insider then the actual sitting president.
