With rosters changing every year, coaches will be forced to implement simple schemes in order for the players to be able to execute as a whole. Gone will be the days of coaches developing players not only individually but also developing them in order to play within their given systems and schemes.
Cronin has started to try and remedy that situation by bringing in transfers with more than one year of eligibility left. Still, there's no guarantee that a player will remain more than a year but it's still something.
College ball will look more and more like the NBA where individual skill and talent is a premium and relied upon mostly in team play. The level of play probably won't be as good since the overall level of talent won't be as good, but the style of play will be similar. To me the NBA is barely watchable. I fear the same fate awaits college basketball.
