NY Times reporting that the 3rd ranking member of the DOJ, Akash Singh, told people in a staff meeting that if prosecutors were presented with cases of election fraud and chose NOT to pursue them, they would be fired.
This is good right? Well no because that's not how the system works. FBI etc brings POTENTIAL cases to prosecutors and they then look at the evidence and decide is there enough to prosecute or not. What Singh is telling them is when they bring you these cases you WILL prosecute them not you will decide if they're prosecutable.
They are telling them you MUST pursue these cases even if you don't think they are valid cases.
This is on the heels of a whistleblower coming out reporting DHS has been illegally accessing voter data for months in violation of state election laws.
So essentially per Carol Leonnig who broke the story, they are telling us we WILL be making claims of election fraud after the midterms and you are going to prosecute them.
