With Pitino leaving UNM, I wonder if they will try to hire Alford

back (I believe he's currently in his last year of his contract at Nevada). They loved Steve in NM and he had a successful program going while coaching there. At Nevada, he secured his 700th career win on 12 March this year. Pitino's leaving was so quick, I haven't heard any potential coaches names mentioned yet.
