considering he never played the 5 before this season, and has only been coached on how to play the last 3 or 4 months.
I'm discouraged he only had one rebound last night, but as Cronin said repeatedly in last night's post-game press conference, that's all about effort. Hopefully, more effort comes with more coaching, and feeling good about himself because he's playing more than he did the last two seasons combined.
Jamerson, OTOH, seems pretty physical to me. Maybe you're seeing something I'm not. He's just not a scorer, and UCLA doesn't run any plays for him, and his teammates almost never pass him the ball. Also, he's playing on a bad ankle right now, which is probably why he had only one rebound, because effort doesn't seem to ever be a problem with him.
